Science Spies

Science fundamentals for juniors

Children are born with a curious and questioning mind. Channeling their curiosity at a very young age is crucial in shaping their minds to become astute learners. They can effortlessly master any subject area if it is taught in a fun, yet structured manner. In Science Spies, we aim to enlighten children in the age group 6 – 10 years with the basic concepts of science through stimulating activities and exciting experiments, such as momentum with dinky cars, how water changes from liquid to ice by changing temperature, how plants grow by watching seedlings germinate. We have vast varieties of experiments to keep their curiosity piqued and create a wondrous passion for science.

Fantastic Physics

Learning physics through real life activities

Physics is at the core of the universe and the laws of nature. Everything around us is made up of materials of varying composition (what we can touch and see) and it all works on the fundamentals of forces and energy (which we can’t always touch and see). Physics helps us understand how it all links together and functions. It answers simple questions like ‘how does a microwave oven heat food?’ or ‘Why does a car skid on a wet road?’ to more complex ones like ‘why does the moon cause ocean tides?’.

At Science Xplorers one of the most important things we do is make children develop problem-solving skills. Success in life requires being able to approach a problem, analyze it, identify the variables and their relationships, and arrive at a solution. By helping them understand Physics through simply structured learning methods and experiments, we open the eyes of children to the world around us. We offer three levels of Physics programs based on age.

Chemistry Mystery

Chemistry demystified through fascinating experiments

We all experience Chemistry everyday, whether it is breathing or baking a cake as these are all based on chemical reactions. Chemistry is the branch of science that deals with the identification of the substances of which matter is composed; of their properties and the ways in which they interact, combine, and change; and the use of these processes to form new substances.

In our chemistry workshops, students learn organic and inorganic chemistry, examining the most basic qualities of matter, mastering strategies of chemical synthesis, solving chemical mysteries in the laboratory, and learning to communicate facts and theories about chemistry to others. All workshops are based on real-life experiments followed by a worksheet which explains the theory in a structured manner with questions and answers.

Biologic

Learning biology by understanding the logic

Biologic is our way of studying Biology: living organisms, divided into many specialized fields that cover their morphology, physiology, anatomy, behavior, origin, and distribution. It tells us about humans, plants, animals and really the entire world around us! Without biology, we wouldn’t have treatments, cures, and vaccines for many diseases.

Robotics

From Building Blocks to Automated Objects

Robotics is a field that is quickly becoming a part of our everyday lives, we must now learn how to build and work with robots and AI. We are, sooner or later, gearing up toward a totally automated future, and what better time to start than now? Our courses in the fields of robotics, coding, app development, and AI are specially crafted for kids, to make them leaders of tomorrow!!!

Our robotics classes in Dubai encourage children to create and develop models of real-life objects while observing their working mechanisms. Kids who are proficient in robotics can begin their careers in software programming, app development, automation, 3D printing, and so much more!

Let’s get cracking!

Computer Programming

Programming skills for the future

Computer knowledge and coding is rapidly becoming the most in-demand skill across a wide range of industries, and it will continue to do so in the future. In a technologically driven world, children should be taught basic “computational thinking” and understand the structure of computers, how the internet works and have an idea of how to write a computer program. Coding expands the mind, builds self-confidence and concentration. It teaches organization, logic and self-control. In addition to that, the most paid jobs in today’s world are in the Computer Science field and programming is at its very core.
